 Bethel Baptist Church has a rich heritage of passionate, exciting music. All music, whether by choir, congregation, or instrument is driven by the desire to offer unfettered praise to the King of Glory. The music and worship at Bethel is guided by Colossians 3:16 which says "Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord." We are committed to providing all people of all ages the opportunity to use their musical gifts. Here are many of the opportunities in music and worship offered to the family of Bethel.   • Worship Choir
This group of 85+ singers is used each Sunday morning and evening to lead in musical worship through special songs and congregational worship. They are featured each year at Christmas as well as other special productions throughout the year. The Worship Choir rehearses each Wednesday evening from 7:45-9:00 p.m. If you are interested in joining the choir, please contact Trevor Thompson at trevor.thompson@visitbethelonline.com 
 
  • Worship Orchestra
The Worship Orchestra accompanies congregational worship each Sunday morning and evening. This ministry is open to all teens and adults with the ability to read basic music notation. The Worship Orchestra rehearses each Sunday morning at 9:00 a.m. If you play an instrument and would like to join this group please contact Trevor Thompson at trevor.thompson@visitbethelonline.com
 
  • Special Music Groups
Bethel is blessed to have many talented singers and musicians. Each week, many of these people use their talent by singing solos and participating in small groups. There are many trios, quartets, and ensembles that provide music each service. These people are selected from the choir and orchestra for showing above-average ability and commitment to faithfulness.
 
  • Senior Adult Choir
We feel that everyone should have the opportunity to sing in a choir no matter their age. That is why the Senior Adult Choir is so important. This ministry provides a chance to sing for those who may not be physically able to make a commitment to the demanding schedule of the Worship Choir. This choir ministers each week to several adult care facilities in Cleveland County. 
 
  • Youth Choir
This energetic group is open to all students 7th-12th grade. The Youth Choir sings several times throughout the year and rehearses each Wednesday from 6:45-7:10 p.m. The Youth Choir is considered very important since it is the future of the Worship Choir. High value is placed on heart-felt singing that promotes good singing habits. Plus, it is alot of fun!
 
  • Kid's Choir
The Kid's Choir is open to all students 3rd-6th grade and rehearses each Wednesday evening from 6:15 - 6:45 p.m. They sing each month and have a great time while doing it. Much emphasis is placed on the enjoyment of singing as well as the joy of serving God.
